The layout provides a level of sophistication, which tests all golfers to the limit. With a variety of tees to play from, players of all abilities have to make their own decisions based upon the potential for risk and its reward. In 2012 PGA Sultan hosted the World Amateur Team Championship, the Eisenhower Trophy, as well as the Turkish Airlines Match Play Championship a field which included Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Lee Westwood.
