Kelvin Grove Park which is 85 acres is located on the River Kelvin in the west end of Glasgow. It is here where you will find the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum.
The park itself also has many monuments to see, the largest of which is the Stewart Memorial Fountain which was built to commemorate Lord Provost Robert Stewart and his achievement of providing Glasgow with fresh water from Loch Katrine.
The park is a haven for wildlife and many species of birds can be seen including the grey heron, cormorant, kingfisher, mallard and goosander. Other animals include the red fox, brown rat and otters.
