Then a walk through Verulamium Park round the lake and ending up at St Albans museum which was the old court house. The inside has been maintained but with the Judge's bench and the prisoner's dock but now serves as the seating area for the restaurant and cafe.
A wander through town down past the Cathedral and the old city gate.
